The South Shore GRANTS Center has been set up as a grant writing and research resource for the nonprofit community, local governments, and school corporations to encourage and apply for federal, state, local, corporate and foundation grants for the community benefit. We have a series of offerings that are meant to expand and grow the grant writing and administration capacity in the community.

With a primary focus on the smaller nonprofits, we offer assistance in research, grant writing, board development and partner with local experts on fundraising plans, program development, evaluation and assessment, financial management, and supervisory training. All of this to increase the skills and the ability of the nonprofits to attract the financial support needed to serve the community.

Similarly, we want to assist the public sector with the expertise and grant writing help to attract outside resources to serve the public and leverage the tax dollars in the community to everyone's benefit.

We are a "start-up" in a way, being in business since 2002 yet now, under the direction of the board and our funders, the South Shore GRANTS Center has set up the processes and programs developed to encourage investment in grant writing and research and developing the ability to access our fair share of the philanthropic and federal/state dollars.

We have a new page with our case statement that will give you more information about our efforts and vision as a grantsmanship center.
